Description

This washed gesha is a celebration of Peruvian coffee cultivation. The renowned varietal shines in this lot with delicate tasting notes of wild blackberries, elderflower and black tea.

Young producer Maribel Wilcamango inherited her love of coffee from her parents, and she’s now bossing the coffee world as the proud owner of Finca Las Salinas, a 1-hectare farm in Cajamarca, Peru.

How To Enjoy

Filter coffee is a classic and super tasty way to enjoy your brew.

It’s made by pouring hot water over ground coffee beans and letting it
drip through a paper or metal filter. Simple, clean, and packed with
flavour — that’s why so many coffee lovers swear by it.

All of our feature coffees are omni roasted, which means they work
great as filter or espresso, no matter how you brew. Filter brewing,
though, really brings out the unique flavours of the beans — from the
origin and process to the producer behind it. Since filter roasts are
usually light to medium, you get a smooth, balanced cup with a clean
finish.

Whether you're using a classic cafetière, a V60, or an AeroPress, filter
coffee can be a seriously good experience. A good place to start is
15g of coffee to 250g of water — then tweak it to suit your taste.
We always recommend going for whole beans and grinding fresh for the
best flavour, but we offer pre-ground too if that’s easier.

All items placed before 2.30pm (weekdays) will arrive within 48 hours
Orders placed after 2.30pm (weekdays) will arrive within 72 hours
Orders placed on the weekend, bank holiday, or after 2.30pm on a Friday will be collected the following Monday, to arrive by the Wednesday.
