Description

Grown on the fertile volcanic slopes surrounding Mount Ijen in East Java, this coffee naturally showcases a new generation of Indonesian speciality coffee. Naturally processed to enhance sweetness and complexity, it challenges expectations with a cup that's vibrant, fruit-forward and remarkably clean. Layers of ripe strawberry are balanced by smooth vanilla sweetness and a rich dark chocolate finish, creating a coffee that's equally comforting and adventurous. It's a perfect example of how innovative processing and exceptional terroir are redefining what Indonesian coffee can be.

How To Enjoy

Roasted to perform beautifully across every brew method, Ijen Highlands is equally delicious as a rich espresso or a clean, fruit-forward filter coffee. Espresso brings out its creamy chocolate sweetness, while filter brewing highlights vibrant strawberry notes and delicate vanilla complexity. However you brew it, expect a beautifully balanced cup with a long, satisfying finish.

All items placed before 2.30pm (weekdays) will arrive within 48 hours
Orders placed after 2.30pm (weekdays) will arrive within 72 hours
Orders placed on the weekend, bank holiday, or after 2.30pm on a Friday will be collected the following Monday, to arrive by the Wednesday.

Kevenka

Kevenka was founded by brothers Kevin and Kenny Soewondo, whose journey into coffee began with a cafe in Surabaya before expanding into roasting and ultimately, green coffee processing. Driven by a passion for quality, they now work with a network of around 500 smallholder farmers across five communities on the slopes of Mount Ijen. Every harvest is processed at their dedicated facility in Botolinggo Village, before being prepared for export at their own micro dry mill. Their commitment to education, transparency and long-term relationships with farmers has helped establish Kevenka as one of Indonesia's most progressive speciality coffee producers.
