We've been waiting all year for this washed Ethiopian from Boreta - and it's absolutely worth the wait. Tasting your first Ethiopian coffee is an experience you'll never forget and this lot lives up to our first experience and memories of what a washed Ethiopian coffee should be.

How To Enjoy

Filter coffee is a classic and super tasty way to enjoy your brew.

It’s made by pouring hot water over ground coffee beans and letting it
drip through a paper or metal filter. Simple, clean, and packed with
flavour — that’s why so many coffee lovers swear by it.

All of our feature coffees are omni roasted, which means they work
great as filter or espresso, no matter how you brew. Filter brewing,
though, really brings out the unique flavours of the beans — from the
origin and process to the producer behind it. Since filter roasts are
usually light to medium, you get a smooth, balanced cup with a clean
finish.

Whether you're using a classic cafetière, a V60, or an AeroPress, filter
coffee can be a seriously good experience. A good place to start is
15g of coffee to 250g of water — then tweak it to suit your taste.
We always recommend going for whole beans and grinding fresh for the
best flavour, but we offer pre-ground too if that’s easier.
