El Choloque - Peru

High in the mountains of Northern Peru, at almost 2,400 metres above sea level, El Choloque is home to Fredis Rodríguez Sosa and his small coffee farm. Fredis began growing coffee just four years ago, looking for a way to improve his family's income and move beyond the limited returns of growing potatoes and maize. Since planting his first trees, coffee has become his main source of livelihood and a project he continues to develop with dedication and care. This washed Typica is selectively harvested, carefully sorted, fermented, washed and slowly dried to preserve the quality of the coffee. Grown at exceptional altitude and produced on a small farm, it offers a glimpse into both the potential of the Typica variety and the difference that quality-focused production can make to a young coffee producer.

All of our products are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48hr delivery: 

• All items placed before 2.30pm (weekdays) will arrive within 48 hours
• Orders placed after 2.30pm (weekdays) will arrive within 72 hours
• Orders placed on the weekend, bank holiday, or after 2.30pm on a Friday will be collected the following Monday, to arrive by the Wednesday.
