The producers of this coffee come from various farms across the region of Buyenzi. All of these producers use the Businde washing station. Businde place high importance on ensuring the coffee farming communities around them are sorted. They distribute compost as fertiliser to help the farmers nearby and assist with the yields of local farmers by donating seedlings to their farms. In addition to this, then ensure that families who use their station are paid a 20% premium for their coffee as well as paying their staff 60% above the average in Burundi.
